Description
November 2023.Jules Davenport is seated at a table by herself, in a small run-down bar somewhere abroad, sipping from a cup of tea. She had told her family, her friends and her girlfriend Hannah that she had to take a two-day business trip for Davencorp affairs.
In reality, she was here to uncover the mystery of her parents' deaths, which had more than likely been murders. Jules' prime suspect had always been Charles Auckland, and recently she had received an anonymous tip, alluding to info that someone might have on him.
Jules suspected it could possibly lead to proof that he was connected to the 'accident' that killed her parents, so she followed this lead at once, while still exercising caution, you never know...
"Miss Davenport?" The voice of a man in a white suit who suddenly stood at her table startled her slightly.
"Yes?" She asked hesitantly. Traveling alone to a foreign place had its downsides, being alone on unfamiliar ground for one... She had no idea who to trust.
"My name is Frank." The man introduced "I am here on behalf of my employer, Miss Doreen Buchanan. She sends her regards, and wishes to meet you tomorrow for tea. She wishes to discuss the matter of Charles Auckland with you."
So, that tip on Auckland came from a woman, this Doreen Buchanan... Jules did not recognize that name, probably a rival of Auckland. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but the young heiress was still careful. She nodded, agreeing to meet this mystery woman tomorrow.
"Does she know anything about my parents' deaths?" She asked, as Frank got up to leave.
"Miss Davenport." Frank's curt nod before he left conveyed "She knows everything about that."
(This will be another short story series of about 7 parts with images. Disclaimers: This is non-canon, not suitable for RP's unlike the non-story prompts and will also have quite a dark turn that gets gradually worse, ye be warned...)
