Today I had the privilege of discovering this little wonder of an iOS/Android game that is "Flappy Bird". If you aren't one of the many enlightened people who had to experience (or watch footage of) this game, may I suggest this video (WARNING: strong language, try this one if swear words offend you).Β For those who prefer a good old Wikipedia article, help yourself !
Yes, the pipes are a complete ripp from the Mario games. Nintendo needs to make an enemy like this in their games, in retaliation!
(P.S.: those who played the game, what is your score? Mine is 40 56.)

Is it true that the owner of this game deleted it from the apple store and noe people is selling Cellphones with "Rare Flappy bird" copies in them?
Aaand yes, i could totally see Mario's pipes in this game, my nephew and i even started huming some of the old mario themes while playing, before throwing his cellphone away.

Yeah, that's true. The guy was getting death threats from people but hurt they couldn't get more than 2 on it. I kept it on my phone, I honestly enjoy the game.

These pipes does not belong to Nintendo. They are similar but not ripoff. Even Nintendo did comment that they don't have any problem with it.

It's not a matter of ownership or not, it's more of the fact that the pipes are clearly taken from Nintendo's work. It's a matter of plagiarizing someone else's work, and that says a bit about the creator. But hey, it's all good if Nintendo doesn't mind, isn't it?

Yes, these pipes are clearly from Mario. But it is not ripoff, he redraw it. It very understandable since creator create the game in only 2 day, for fun. But suddenly become popular and everyone hate him. I don't defence for Flappy Bird, it's a terrible game. But I can't understand all the hate people throw at him. People complain about Flappy bird but praise Candy Crush Sage or Angry Bird, they are copy from other game too.
And if you don't know, Flappy bird creator removed the game from both App store and Play store yesterday.
