Lol, I am loving this story. Its cute and funny, and I really do approve of the 3D-like perspective of the first panel. That combined with Mario's pose is great.

I don't think that's the language, since this Podoboo can be understood by other species than hers (i.e.: Toads on the first page). Let's just say that you would feel better running rather than letting a being made of fire and magma in fusion try to touch you.

I LOVE the angles in the first two panels! They give that added dimension to the (literally) 2D world... Very cool.
The last panel is funny. XD Methinks Mario's gonna fall... Ah well. Luigi is better, eh? :3
But... since Mario dropped the Fire/Power flower, shouldn't his outfit have changed back? O_o

This is a detail I haven't thought of (cause initially he wasn't dropping any flower... he just... didn't have any). So let's say he lost his ability to throw fireballs, but not his outfit... yet.

I love the perspective of seeing Mario levels the wrong way. It looks better than in Super Paper Mario.
