Note the first appearance of colors here! ...and delirious video game quotes of awesome! (I have the urge to tell the wiiless people what's in Mario's thought bubble in the second panel. But where's the fun if I reveal everything, uh?)
For those who don't get it (I pity you, srsly!!), you get mini-pals according on the character you use to touch the power-up with. And Peach is a playable character. Guess you can make it up from this point, meh?

I remember even doing that myself, those ugly Peach sprites from the NES days that resembles Zelda...musta had a big laugh to have all those ugly little things around me. Funnest part is watching them die.
Err...anyway, on to the pic, nice work on Mario, as always, it seems you did good in not limiting yourself to a 2D sprite like in the game, but giving him more of a "3D Paper Mario" style. I even envy the background, keeping up with the Mario theme of things, it really makes me feel at home to look at this.
It was fun to look at all these, one question, though: Will there be more? I bet you have tons of ideas for these things!

The background is pretty minimal, I try not to emphasize to much on it as it may interfer with what's happening in the front, but hey I'm glad you say they're good anyway.
I had an idea or two for other strips like these, but I'll let the whole thing breathe a little, so I can come up with better ideas at a better time. I need to concentrate on something else right now...
