Description
Full-Colour commission for of his original characters.Based on a written description, I did my best to depict the piece.
Had fun w/ this one.
funny that even though i was looking @ lots of sunrises to get the sky looking proper, it kinda looks like a sunset.

There's really something powerful about the intrigue this thing evokes...as you can only evoke it. Props, bro. I love it.

this is so good it's insane! but, you've heard that before. let me rephrase that so it's not so boring for you... your style, skill, colors, and sense of proportions, angels, and composition is like a one armed penguin in time square with an uzi, with more weapons being fed down from a walrus-manned helicopter and the penguin takes out all the members of cobra, as well as people who make stupid commercials that play at least two times every break.
i hope that gives you an idea of how awesome you are.

i think it's the colours (though god knows how your ment to differentiatwe the two). sun rises seem alot harsher, especially on the clouds while pink and blues dominate the sky...
there's a fantastic sense of ambiance to this, what with the hazy lighting effect on the charaters (the way the light lies on them gives an incredible sense of form and shape) and the colours really capture the charateristics of the sun. the sky's also wonderfully rendered, what with those streaking clouds which seem so light and solid at the same time thanks to the combination of the fluffy tops and bold undersides.
the low shot gives this a certain dynanism and allows for your trade marke use of perspective. the boy, girl and robot each have a fantastic sense of charater thanks tot he body language of each, something that adds a sense of narritive to this.
