❖ GENERAL ❖

Name » Centurion

❖ APPEARANCE ❖

Centurion is a well-built and large drake that gives off a strong and powerful aura. He is adept at combat, primarily offense, and definitely shows this off with his muscular frame.

Centu has a lighter shade of blood red scales that look profoundly similar to oxygenated blood from a dragon (a few individuals have been brave or stupid enough to point out that he looks like he’s just murdered someone but he denies it and explains his scales are naturally this shade), covering his sides, face, limbs and most of the tail. His vertebral scales - referring to actual scales on his back, not the heart scale - are an odd pale gold one could describe as ‘mellow’. These scales are a bit tougher than those on his flanks and have a singular dark grey spike protruding from them. His horns are the same colour. Just above his underside, there is a row of slightly softer reddish-grey scales and his belly is the same colour as his vertebral scales. Most of his scales have faint red and/or golden yellow patterns. All in all these are pretty hard to break, but his underside is definitely a weak spot, although difficult to reach in combat. His underbelly is matte but most of his other scales have a glossy, reflective sheen that picks up light around him. His eyes are a strange, golden-orangey shade with dark brown sclera originating from his SandWing father.

Centurion’s wings are not exactly ‘huge’, just slightly bigger than the average dragon’s thanks to his SkyWing heredity. His membranes are even darker than his main red colouration and are patterned with lighter red swirls on the top/dorsal side, while his bottom/ventral side are slightly lighter than this and have red smoke patterns and hints of gold.
He has a sail on his back that covers most of his vertebrae, transitioning into spikes between his wings and near the end of his tail. The sail continues the mellow gold on his back and gradients into an odd purplish colour. His spikes also have this colour.

Scars » Centurion only has a few minor chips and dents in his scales he doesn’t even consider scars; they're barely visible unless in certain angles of light or if one were to specifically look for them on his body.

❖ ABILITIES ❖

Powers » Centurion has the usual fire shown in SandWings, NightWings and SkyWings (the temperature of whatever tribe out of these three that is either speculated to or confirmed to be the coolest, so definitely not the heat of a SkyWing’s fire). MAJOR
He also has a unique type of venom that does no damage at all. Instead, this venom just delivers an excruciating pain that lasts for 5-10 seconds depending on the sting area and strength of the target. MAJOR(?)
Along with this he has slightly warmer body temperatures and can survive a good while without water.

Survival [4/8] » Centurion has learnt to survive on his own in his younger days, but as he got older these lowered a bit as Mezzo is relatively safe on most occasions.

Tribe Abilities [6/8] » Centurion has good control over his fire and barb. He knows how to start up and end his fire pretty well but if he has to use it a lot over a short period of time, it takes a bit longer for the fire to build up. For his barb/venom, this is pretty easy to control, as long as he doesn’t accidentally stab somedragon he’s good.

Literature [1/8] » Centurion recently picked up reading and has faint interest in poetry, although he isn’t very good at it.

Education/Learning » Centurion was taught the basics by his parents, Conflagration and Bahiensis, as they preferred him to be raised ‘naturally’ over going to schools and getting taught things he’d never apply to real life. In the end, Centu wishes he could have gone to school, as his knowledge lacks compared to other dragons his age.

Tier » 1

Strength [7/10] » Centurion has trained in combat from his parents, learning the SkyWing and NightWing combat moves through his mother and the SandWing moves through his father. Although he uses physical combat as a last resort, he practices to make sure his muscles are still in good shape and to try and get as fluid as possible with his fighting.

Agility/Dexterity [4/10] » Not very high, Centu is a bit clumsy especially because of his size but he can maneuver well enough to make his way around and to read and write. He isn’t very delicate with his hands but he tries to be when holding books or scrolls, he doesn’t want to break them.

Constitution [7/10] » As with fighting, Centurion is good at defending and prefers this over full on combat. He relies on his size and brute force to take the brunt of the force applied from attacks of other dragons. He prefers this over fighting because he doesn’t necessarily need to see blood (reasoning listed soon.).

Intelligence [5/10] » Stated above, Centurion got minimal education from his parents. They did give him information on important topics, such as history, english, and the Tribes, but not as much on topics like science because they didn’t have the ingredients to do experiments like others could in schools.

Wisdom [5/10] » This stat was definitely very low when he was younger because he was a reckless little dragonet, but as Centu aged he lived through experiences that gave him a wiser outlook on the world.

Charisma [3/10] » Not very attractive, just a grumpy old man. He has no idea what Novocaine, his mate, sees in him. He was most likely handsome when he was younger but his age made that wear off a bit.

Stamina [5/10] » Usual level of stamina for most dragons. Centurion doesn’t really need to endure much to drain his stamina completely besides long flights, combat and other exhausting activities. (As above, will definitely drain a bit as he grows older.)

Flight [6/10] » Centu is pretty good at flying, as he grew bigger and bigger it got harder to fly in enclosed spaces such as dense forests and in buildings, so he’s stopped trying to do that altogether, he’ll only take off in a clear area. Thanks to his stamina he can also fly for a while and he’s fast at flying for his age too (he’ll slow down a lot as he gets older for sure, however.)

❖ INVENTORY ❖

Dagger (small item) » Centurion carries a dagger his father gave to him before he left to start his own family. He has a small sheath/slot for it on his left wrist. The dagger is a simple Arkansas toothpick-like design with a serpent carefully carved into the hilt. He only uses this dagger for self-defense and does not carry it around to threaten others. Centu is right handed so it’s easy for him to lift his left forelimb and unsheath the blade.
