Well, I decided to make a little series of posters focused on my favorite Kremling brothers General Klump and Captain Skurvy, who are in search of a precious treasure, and both see this as an opportunity to become more connected with each other and live some adventures together, something which they probably never did before.

They start off their quest in an uncharted island where rumors (and also a mysterious map which Skurvy obtained during his sailings pointed out) led to believe that there's a secret place in this island which holds not only a satisfying amount of valuable treasures but also a sacred jewel which can give god-like powers for those who possess it called "Tear of Love", which according to some legends it's an actual crystalized tear of a god which feel from the sky due to said god crying over the tragic death of their platonic mortal lover many milennia ago. This artifact has been obtained by several people along the ages and used for all sorts of purposes either good or evil.
Of course, there were many wars between nations over its possession until an altruistic soul decide to hide it in the depths of the unknown island putting an end over the endless cycle of violence and betrayal over the artifact.

Nowadays both the Kremling brothers search for it, and they'll do everything they can to uncover the mysteries of this island and the jewel itself, seeing for themselves if the legends are true or if they're simply fairy tales.

This one took a while to make, in special due to the backpack behind Klump's back, which was a pain to fit on him. All because SFM doesn't have a "Fit to..." feature like DAZ and Poser do. In fact, Valve's tool lacks a bunch of quality of life features which you'd find on said modelling and rendering apps. But even so it's still a good tool but not 5 stars worthy IMO.

Also, I admit that both Kremling brothers' models could be much better than that but unfortunately those are the best I could find online. I wish they could have the same treatment like King K. Roll and Donkey Kong had with their Smash models but c'est la vie. If someone is willing to make better models for these two characters and not put them behind a paywall then be my guest.
I've converted the Gmod models using this site - Steam Workshop Downloader :: IO

However I had a lot of work to make the DKC pack usable in SFM, spending several hours looking for a solution. If you need help send me a note and I'll give you a guide on how to do so since posting here will take up a lot of space.

Anyway, let's go for the models I used for this thing:

The ship they use is Galleon Ship by sonosublime

The map is Beach_V1 by EternalDarknessOfMoon (DON'T subscribe to it but instead download the map from the description)
