Huh, looks like there's some spiderwebs left over from Halloween...

So, folks, I'm gonna tack a warning on to this since it's the start of the chapter. A reminder, this is a cyberpunk-ish story. The genre isn't exactly known for perfect good guys, but rather shades of grey. And, well, I tend to write broken characters to borrow a friend's term.

So, as the story picks up pace a little, some of the characters will be behaving badly. But, I can promise you there's a reason for their behavior and that will be addressed later in the story - particularly as we get into characters' backgrounds.

Can't have light without some darkness.

So, hopefully you'll all keep reading.
