Description
The day was young, and full of life. The cool stream's blessing lifted up and outward to those who dare bask in it's glory amidst the persistent insects who lay claim to the gravel banks littered with reeds and stone alike. long past the city's reach, deep in the untamed mountain ridges haunted by timid demons, volatile ruins, and relics of better times, some brave souls carved out a spot just for them to enjoy; Forgotten to time, lead to untimely ends by the devil of the mountain."I don't miss this place," Ashalynna stated, looking down upon the picnic table, and gravel path she once called home. "I'm going to look for something," she announced to the empty world, swiftly fading away between the trees, until she was nothing more than a faint sounds hidden within the ambiance.
Iris had already dunked herself into the water, disturbing multitudes of fish with her sudden presence, stirring the masses into a frenzied panic. She only had 2 hours to play in the water, she did not have time to waste. Sitting patiently on the bench, looking onward to ensure the safety of himself, And Iris's well being to a degree, Clasped tightly in his hands, a watermelon. The sacred fruit of many people, for varying reasons. "I'm surprised you chose to walk here dressed like that," gesturing towards the short stack of many questionable decisions thus far. "I'm not giving you my jacket if you get cold later, so don't even think about it!"
Crawling over the far side of the table, scrapping knee and boot alike, making sure to get a few whips of her tail in for a bit more flair, "I didn't hear you complaining while you were walking behind me, Wanna explain that?" She mockingly jabbed the tip of her tail into Clock's ear, "'Making sure you're all safe?' Mister Tough Lizard? "Keeping an eye on everyone?", hmm?" Kicking her legs from underneath her, and sweeping her boots into the thigh of her usual suspect, She smiled, Pressing her snout into his face.
Turning away from her mildly intrusive gaze, the words stumbled out of his mouth, "Not my fault your fat ass won't wear cloths that fit." Confused by the words that just came out of his mouth, as well as the tail that was not in front of his face, ready to poke him in his snout, He turned back around to face his tormentor, "You're hiking in a bikini and boots, the hell you expect from me?"
One by one, She removed her boots, Then her small socks, revealing tiny feet that would be unceremoniously shoved in someone's face as punishment for daring to exist at a normal height. Tossing her boots and accessories aside, she slide off the edge of the table, and dropped gracefully onto the seat below. 'Thumbp-' The bench shook as all 120lb's of tiny rat came crashing down on the old, rotting seat; Fortunately for the bench, And unfortunately for others involved, She managed to land a hearty amount of rat on something other than bench, "Woops, Guess that's what happens when you got a fat rat ass!" She cheered gleefully, making sure to take as long as possible with adjusting her seat. "Would be a real shame if someone with a "Fat rat ass" accidentally sat on your lap. that'd be tragic..."
Scotching further to the end of the bench, letting what little left of rat still remained on him fall to the bench, his grip on the watermelon tightened. "Not happening! Stop being weird!" As swiftly as he pulled away, She was right back where she once was, forcing her hip into his side, practically sitting on the contort of his stomach. Standing up, and shoving the melon into Destiny's arms, he made one final statement, "Fuck this," before scaling the nearby tree, and waiting amongst the branches for someone to rescue him from his captor, as Iris would not be of much help. "Try climbing this tree, i dare you," Clock boldly proclaimed, raking his claws across the many protruding spikes, and thorns of the glorious tree he call savior.
Glancing up the tree's stock, and back down at her attire, it was abundantly clear she had no chance of success. Even if she made it, He'd just jump back down, and return to hugging the watermelon in a sick game of tag. She didn't even have much experience climbing trees, or getting out of them. The last time she tried didn't end well for her health, even if she ended up meeting Clock that way. Standing up, melon in hand, it was clear what was to come next. "I'm gonna do it..." A half hearted glance fell from the tree, "If you don't get out of the tree, I'm going to do it i swear!" The half hearted glance turned to amusement, Was she going to really climb the tree?
As she began, Amusement turned to general disappointment, "You're really going to do that here..." It was already too late. The pieces were in place. Firmly held between her tights, hips spread wide, the watermelon would die for his crimes. "Fine, Ruin the watermelon! i didn't like it anyways." A swift finger thrusted upward in retort, she did not care, she was on a mission.

As she clenched her thighs inward, the melon remain resolute and resilient to her charming ways. It would not be easily swayed like it's brethren before it; they were weak, shameful melons. Not Canta. Canta was stronger than his brothers. It'd shout cruel words of taunting if it had the wits and mouth to do so, but remaining firm and stoic in the face of adversity would serve enough of a vile stance against the enemy. She clenched once more. Nothing; She was not a foe worth remembering, a mere passing thought of beauty and mild indulgence, She however was not Canta's type. Canta did not have interest in Mice, or Rats. Nor other species. Nothing could sway Canta's resolve. Desperation took over the tiny, but determined creature, as she wrapped her tail around her body and his, applying an unexpected amount of force to him. Canta would not last long, but neither could the assailant. She chose too late to use her full potential, While Canta stood with full force from the very start. His shell began to blister, And falter under her new found might. A worthy opponent indeed, Unfortunate she played with her food, before realizing the might of Canta was no laughing matter. The horrified onlooker of the tree saw the battle unfold. He alone would tell the tale of Canta if it had failed it's battle. Should he deem it a worthy struggle. Alas, it was over. Laying on the floor, Shattered, Canta had won. He had broken the girl's will... victory was Canta's.

lunging out of the tree, cratering into the ground, Clock rushed to Destiny's side, "You good? The melon kick your ass or something?" Standing over the rat, pondering what might be wrong, he never got a response. Turning to the water, he called out, "Hey Iris! Pack your shit, Destiny got hurt!" Lifting the rat off the ground and placing her on the table, he walked to the tree line. With one solid breathe, her shouted, disturbing the once peaceful forest with the abrupt jagged sound of a concerned, "Hey," Before slinging the rat over his shoulder, and working his way through the tree line towards civilization.
escaping the water, cloths soaked like rags, Iris Approached the shattered watermelon on the floor, "What happened to Canta?" It's sides were crushed, but not too damaged, Dirt entered the crevasses, and bugs were swarming it however. "Poor Canta..." she murmured, before grabbing the knife off the table, Slashing at every miniature twig of a tree that sprouted in defiance of it's origins, primarily the ones she missed on their way in. Moments after passing into the wilderness, Ashe arrived, descending from a nearby tree, Paws and hands covered in scratches and blood, cloths mildly torn from her hasty arrival. Surveying the area, she looked down at Iris, holding a knife, and a watermelon laying on the floor, crushed, very much confused as to what she might have stumbled into. "Destiny got hurt, so we're leaving."
"Um... Okay?" Looking at her blood soaked hands, and the horrific marks she left on the tree's upper portions; Bloody pawprints, and steaks of blood litter the canopy, surely scaring anyone who notice them into turning away. How far did the trail go, Who knew. Everyone seemed safe, and there never was an emergency, so all was well. She paused for a minute, looking hopefully into Iris's eyes, hoping there would be anything extra to come out of her. Nothing but a blank stare back. "So... What happened to Canta?"

Arriving at a shoddy medical clinic, and explaining the situation, the doctor sighed in disappointment, "You're the 5th case I've had today, you just tore a muscle in your thigh," Scribbling down a note with simple instructions and shoving it into Clock's hands, he gestured for them to leave. Still holding the writhing rat over his shoulder, Everyone began to make their way out of the overcrowded clinical building. "Hey, What about you?!?" Ashe turned around and pointed to herself as if confused of who they meant, "Yes, you. Your hands are covered in blood, And your cloths are soaked, We need to get you bandaged! Fireworks aren't a joke, we need to get you cleaned up!"
The confusion continued, "But i didn't handle any fireworks." The doctor stared at her stunned. Covered in blood, paws bleeding, Shoes pooling with blood he couldn't even see, she shrugged, "I'm fine, You can go on to who ever was next," Turning on her heel, She exited the double doors, trying her best to not get blood on anything important, "Have a nice day!" She shouted through the crack in the door as it shut, leaving the clinic silent and stunned.
"She's just built differently i guess."

Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate, otherwise, have a good day, and enjoy the day!
Destiny trying her best to crush a watermelon has been on my to draw list for a long time, finally glad i got to draw it.
Hope you enjoy the story! it was fun writing, and i think Clock would have enjoyed it just as much if she managed to crush the melon, but Destiny surely got what she wanted in the end ;3
