DONT LOOK AT ME IM CRINGEEEEEEEE but me and my friend have been talking about ours ocs for while now and something thats important to Ace's backstory is that they had a really close relationship with their mother who died when they were about 14. its one of the big reasons why they became a criminal in the first place, as they couldnt cope with their grief.

but then me and my friend galaxy brained too fucking hard and we fleshed out Francine (Ace's mom) and they were like ok but who's the dad ??? and so we made him too but then we realized WAIT FUCK THESE TWO ARE ACTUALLY REALLY FUCKING CUTE

Francine was a PSA agent, and she's been tasked with multiple cases involving a weapon trafficking mafia, especially it's boss, Joseph. they both didnt like each other at first but eventually, feelings grew between them. they genuinely loved each other, but they knew their relationship was illegal and considered treason. eventually though their secret got out, and Francine got fired from the agency (its a bit better than being jailed, at least...). She also found out she was pregnant with Ace around the same time, but due to Joseph's trauma, she knew he wouldn't have wanted to start a family.

so she ran away, and never talked to him again. he spent years trying to find her desperately, until news got out that she died 14 years later from sickness. he didnt even know he had a kid before.

a few years after Ace surrendered themself, Joseph tried to come into contact with them for the first time. it was awkward and weird, especially to Ace at first, but Joseph eventually realized that he genuinely loved the kid. so i guess they're a family now. they both miss Francine a whole lot, but they know that she'd be happy that they eventually found each other.
