However, her life took a drastic turn when tragedy struck her family, leaving her orphaned at a tender age.
Faced with the harsh realities of life, Nicole was forced to fend for herself on the unforgiving streets of Boston. With no one to turn to, she learned to rely on her wit and resourcefulness to survive. But as she grew older, Nicole found herself drawn to a darker path.
Fuelled by a desire for wealth and power, Nicole turned to a life of crime, honing her skills as a master thief specializing in high-value jewels and priceless artifacts. With her fiery red hair and cunning intellect, she quickly gained notoriety under the alias "Ruby Rogue."
However, fate had other plans for Nicole. During one fateful heist, she stumbled upon a hidden chamber containing an otherworldly artifact of unknown origin - a relic infused with the enigmatic powers of the quantum realm. As she reached out to touch it, a surge of energy enveloped her, imbuing her with extraordinary abilities beyond her wildest imagination.
Emerging from the experience transformed, Nicole faced a choice: continue down the path of darkness or embrace her newfound powers for a greater purpose. Haunted by her past and seeking redemption, she chose the latter, adopting the name "Ruby Rogue" as a symbol of her transformation.
