Bio/Backstory: Usksay was born in Lalana, Zivena and lived their until she got in a fight at school and was expelled. Her parents then kicked her out of the house and told her she could come back home only when she got her life together. She lived on the streets of Lalanan and made a Biker gang called "Black Hornets" and they terrorized the city. She got enough money from stealing and bullying the people of the town. After she had got enough money to get her to Molitrias, Ibil, the police arrested her and her gang and put them in jail. They didn't keep her locked up for more than a week because she was 16 years old and told her to leave town and never come back. So she bought a train ticket to Molitrias, Ibil where she now lives by herself in a small apartment. She attends the highschool there and makes a living by working at a small, family-owned resturaunt. She is still the same stubborn and stuck-up girl she's always been who likes to get into fights and cause trouble, but she has cleaned up her act quite a bit since leaving her home in Lalana and she doesn't terrorize people anymore. She still has her motorcycle and likes to go on rides around the town but she will never be in a biker gang again. Probably...

Bio/Backstory: Ichiro comes from the Forest of Shadows located in the territory of Zivena. When she turned 2, her Clan started training her in the ways of the Ninjas. She completed her training at age 10--an amazing accomplishment for a ninja. Training is not supposed to end until age 16 traditionally but Ichiro proved to be a prodigy child. She surpassed everyone in her Clan and became the best of the best. This put her in grave danger because the rival Ninja Clans were fearful of her talent and set out to kill her to protect themselves from the possible threat. To protect her, her Clan sent her to Molitrias, Ibil to live a life away from the dangers her talent and gift gave her. But this safety can't possibly last forever. Especially since kids at her school pick on her for her small size. When she first started at the highschool, a large senior boy tried to beat her up to show dominance but she easily dispatched him and that is what got the spies interested in her. Now she has been in Molitrias for 3 years and more and more people are hearing about her and her amazing fighting skills. How much longer will she be safe?

Personality: In general, Cassi is the perfect lady, showing kindness and compassion to everyone, and in return, she is respected and adored.
Bio:
Cassi is the daughter of a famous pirate captain, Captain Di Trieste. Her mother, the only daughter of a rich merchant, fell in love with the pirate. He constantly visited her at her mansion, which put him and his men at the risk of discovery. But the captain didn't care, he only wanted to see her, to hold her in his arms and tell her of the foreign lands he visited while they were apart.
Eventually, she got pregnant with Cassi, and he stayed by her side the entire time. Unfortunately, she died during childbirth. Cassi's father made the decision to leave her with her grandfather, in the safety of society. Occasionally, he would come back and give her strange new items, like mangoes, or pomegranates, or even jewelry. She would continue to only see her father every so often for 16 years.
That is, until her town was attacked. She was walking in town buying groceries when she was kidnapped by a pirate, not one of her father's crew, due to her aristocratic manner and dress. She was held underneath the deck.
One day she heard the sounds of gunfire and swords above deck. The captain of the ship, a young man in his 20s, forced her onto the deck and demanded that she help clean the aftermath. Cassi didn't need to be demanded, she immediately flocked to the nearest injured man and started attending to the wounded. After cleaning them up, she started wiping down the deck and asked permission to help with the cook. Surprised, the captain let her. The crew members took time to heal, and during that time, Cassi became an integral crew member, due to the kindness she showed to the men, even though the captured her.

Personality: She's friendly when she's not working, but when she is, she's strict and demanding. She wants to do her best in all circumstances and will sometimes take things too far. She also has a short temper which can trigger her hidden powers if aggravated enough.
Bio/Backstory: Caelen grew up with only her father and the two were homeless for a long time. That didn't put them down though, they did what they could with their misfortunes and made their life the best it could. Positions to join the military opened up and she and her father joined. Although only her father got in, he convinced them to let her come along. The two learned to fight and to use weapons. Their once poor life turned into one of turmoil soon though when a great war broke out between two major countries. Her father was killed not very long after it began and she was forced to take over a legion of soldiers. Luckily, she was able to win the war for her country and led the military long after it ended. She never wanted revenge for her father, though it seems like war may have been caused by the same person who killed her father.

Other: Just before the war ended, she discovered a sword in the centre of the battlefield, seeming to be from a Chinese warrior. When she picked it up, a dragon landed before her. She was given the hidden power of the dragons, which created a dragon tattoo that swirls down her arm. This power can be used in great or small doses, and the smaller doses usually are used when she's angry. This power also tires her out quickly if she doesn't use it properly. It also gives her "Second Chances", which are basically second lives for if she dies, but she has a very limited amount of them.

Bio/Backstory: Astren since the day she was born had a large fasciation in pirates. Many a times with her older brother, she would play as a brave captain and her brother her slave. Astren likes to win, and will do anything she can to be the victor, which gets her in trouble many times. Along with her love of pirate she has a like for weaponry and the sea. Astren's father is a part of the Navy, which became a big influence on young Astren.
Likes: Pirates, weapons, the Ocean, a men with a strong presences, cosplaying as a pirate

Personality: Adventurous, outgoing, a bit brash, blunt, but can get a bit sentimental at times and a bit emotional.
Bio/Backstory: Ishild hails from the nation of Glyndikosh, a conglomeration of islands that relies on trade within itself and other nations. Ishild is the daughter of a successful merchant and only daughter of four children, but grew very bored of the merchant life, seeing no adventure in it other than navigating through storms. One day, on a trip to Anahita, a trade partner of Glyndikosh, their ship was assaulted and boarded by the crew of a dangerous pirate known as Leviathan. His crew overwhelmed the trade ship and rounded up its members, planning to kill the weaker ones and anyone who refused to join his crew. Ishild was trapped in the middle of the crowd, along with her younger brother. She tried to find a way to sneak off and call for help and bring her brother along. They found their way out and managed to sneak into the captain's quarters and tried to make contact with any nearby ships. Her brother did the communicating while she kept guard. That is, until she saw her two older brothers standing in the middle of the deck with guns pointed at their faces. Her instincts kicked in as she rushed out to save her brothers. At first, Leviathan wasn't interested in cutting a deal to save the men's lives, until Ishild threatened him at knife point. Seeing her potential, he allowed her to join his crew on the condition that her family be spared. But, she had to be loyal and do whatever he instructed her to do. At first, she hated her new life, but eventually grew used to it, liking the adventure it gave her; the same adventure she used to only dream of.

Other: She doesn't have any powers. Magic isn't very common in Glyndikosh. Not every nation gets to be privileged enough to be full of mages, like Terragon. Glyndikosh is further north than its closest trade ally, Anahita, which is more equatorial. A large portion of Glyndikosh's population has brown hair, fair skin, and blue/teal-ish eyes, like Ishild.
Why, yes, I'm building a whole world. My best friend and I are writing a novel series, but I decided that I wanted to worldbuild and show how diverse this magical world is.
