Likes: Cold climates, snow, magic, ice cream, sweets, strawberries, Luka, jewels, reading, and pink.

Dislikes: Warm climates, bitter foods, not being as skilled at magic as Sorbet, exercising, standing out in a crowd, not having a plan, ghosts, and people who misuse magic.

Personality: Parfait may be introverted, but he's not shy about making snarky remarks or criticizing his companions when something goes wrong. He often finds himself to be the voice of reason, and is more grounded than his teammates. Despite often acting harsh or critical towards the others, he cares for them deeply and has a sense of loyalty to them. He often feels inferior to his rival Sorbet and is rather insecure about his magical abilities, but he's just as flustered if someone compliments him. He has a crush on Luka, but has trouble expressing feelings despite it being obvious to everyone but Luka. Parfait has the most knowledge about the world and the places they visit out of the group and often has to provide exposition. Parfait usually claims that his specialty is ice magic, but he knows a surprising number of fire spells.

History: Parfait grew up in a small village with short summer and long winters. From the time he was a young child, he was taught magic by the Grand Magician alongside his best friend Sorbet. One day, the Grand Magician announced that only one of them would inherit his title, causing a falling-out between Parfait and Sorbet that led the two to becoming bitter rivals. For years, Parfait trained and studied hard in order to suppress Sorbet, but always felt as though his rival had a lead over him. One day, a traveling rabbit named Luka and his fairy companion Rosemary traveled to the village and claimed to be on an adventure to save the world. Seeing this as an opportunity to surpass Sorbet, Parfait decided to join Luka on his quest. However, he quickly found himself shocked by how little direction the adventurers had on their quest.

Current-Bio: Parfait is currently traveling the world with Luka, Rosemary, and Katsu in order to help them on their quest to purify the four crystals. He is attempting to surpass his rival Sorbet and become the next Grand Magician.

Meta-History: Parfait was created in 2020 and was designed to be one of Luka's party members. I didn't have a name for him initially, but originally settled on Custard. It wasn't until 2021 that I decided I'd rather call him Parfait. No matter what, I was determined for him to have some kind of dessert-themed name. I also wasn't originally sure if he was an offensive mage (black mage) or a healer (white mage), but I've settled on the idea that he's mainly an offensive mage who only knows the most basic of healing spells. I really love designing mage characters so he's naturally my favorite of the Lapin Kingdom characters...plus he's pink.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Luka: Parfait is rather critical of Luka and often wonders how someone so carefree could be the chosen one. Despite this, Parfait considers Luka to be one of his closest friends (though he finds it difficult to admit this). He has a rather obvious crush on Luka that everyone but Luka seems to be aware of.

Rosemary: Parfait gets along well with Rosemary and often shows interest in learning about the Fairy Realm.

Katsu: Parfait mostly gets along with Katsu, but is known to find him to be too relaxed and easygoing.

Lapis: Parfait is amazed by Lapis's skill level in magic and wishes she would join the party. However, he is often annoyed by how cryptic she can be.

Sorbet: In the past, Parfait and Sorbet were best friends who studied magic together under the Grand Magician. Everything changed when their teacher revealed that only one of them would inherit the title of Grand Magician, causing the two to become bitter rivals. Parfait always feels like Sorbet is one step ahead of him. Deep down, Parfait misses the days when they were friends.

The Grand Magician: Parfait studied magic under the Grand Magician and harbors a great deal of respect for him.
