Backstage Video: [link]Second photo from today's photoshoot with my last costume: Merida from Brave.
It's summer here in Argentina and I practically melted with this costume, but it was worth it. We could make another awesome phtoshoot/backstage video with Sevi and Cynthia. The video will be up this week or the other, if lucky !
The biggest challenge was finding an appropriate wig, then I dyed some parts to give it different shades of orange. I just couldn't feel myself with that wig! it's so hughe, lol.

This is beautiful but I feel the direction you are looking and the direction of the bow & arrow contradicts the composition. It kinda bothers me. You're looking over to the left but you're pointing your arrow to the right.
Again, this is such a beautiful cosplay.

Wow. Very great shot and cos.
Loved this movie, and i love the cosplay of her! Your face is perfect for the character and that meaning it is beautiful enough to pull it off.
My only issue is the pose, i don't think Merida would have pulled her attention from the bow when drawn, she seemed only focused when holding and using it.
This pose would have been better if the bow was over your shoulder, as if to be looking around the woods as she was when exploring and following the wisps.

thank you for you oppinion but the idea of this photo was taken from a movie screen shot where she is preparing her bow just about to make the shot and then she gets surprised by something behind her, in this case, a bear lol. so we tried to recreate it. But thanks !

I made a pattern from the original renders then that was cut in wood. After that i sanded every corner to make them round, then paint, details, etc.

Thank you ! I made this cosplay in aprox 5 days lol.
The wig is from Ebay, i styled a little and dyed some darker orange parts to give it different shades of orange !

It would be kinna complicated and expensive u_u the wig itself is quite like that, you syle it like you want it to be, i dyed the darker parts just because i'm very obssesed with details xD but i can tell you how to do that, it's very easy. With two red markers and alcohol and one brush you can do it
