I'm actually a really hard flirt when it comes to shipping and Fluttercord just hit all the right buttons for me. I have a big weakness for something I like to call ''beauty and the beast syndrom'' which just fit these two so well, according to my preferences. One being kind and forgiving and the other being selfish and maybe cruel at times, but gentle at heart.
But, Of course! I know people will not agree with me and maybe even down right hate my art work. But these are just my personal fangirl fantasies, nothing I want to force people to agree with, but maybe share with other with similar shipping interest as I.
But I'm sorry you feel that way.
Though it won't stopp me from shipping these two XD

I was thinking along those lines too. Plus it kinda makes sense since she's the first true friend that Discord's ever had. Best friends tend to marry better than strangers.
This is one of the two shippings that actually make sense for Discord. The other one is Discord x Celestia.

But I never said I hated your art. It's all really great. I jus think it's a little ridiculous for some people to be wasting their talent and breath on creepyish things like this shipping.
And I guess I get the beauty and the beast thing... But any other female character could have applied. Maybe Celestia, who makes more sense in a million ways? At lest their age would make sense.
If you want opposites, those two would work way better anyway.

But it dosen't really make sense for me I don't really have enough material to work with when it comes to Celestiacord. Not denying, it could make an interesting ship. But it's not really for me I like to ship things that the show has provided me, with material. I know there are a lot of head canons floating around the internet (about celestiacord), that they may have shared a certain past together. But I see nothing really backing this statement up in the show so far. Call me a slave of canon, but for me to ship stuff, they must have shared more than one conversation and a flower scene. But if in season 5, the creators would decide to give Celestia and Discord more backstory or maybe an episode where they got to know one another, then maybe I could consider this ship. But at the moment, all my feeling belong with Fluttercord.
I guess fans of the show, just see things differently.
But again, this is just me having silly shipping feels and nothing I want to force other to agree with.
Everyone is free to ship with whom ever they want ^_^
Don't really know what I can say about the pedophile part...
For example, If we have an Immortal being...let say a vampire and let say he/she is over 1000 years old and yet have not aged mentally or physically, is it still consider pedophilia if this Immortal would get together with a 25 year old?

And I'm sure the show will show us some background of those two eventually in season 5. It's kinda for us creative artists to use our own imaginations. And the show said Discord and Fluttershy were meant to be friends, so it's like shipping me and a guy friend from grammar school together if we had one conversation for a project we were assigned to do together. There wasn't even a lot about Discord and Fluttershy except one episode and some mentions in the finale.
But whatever. Like I said, I can't stop the people who think differently in that way.
