Messed around with the layer masks and... wha laaa.
Don't know why I thought of this now. But still. It looks nice.I'm uploading the raw PSD this time, so you can see how I made this.
Feel free to download it and mess around with it, just credit me at some point in the future if you end up using it 
EDIT: Made some technical tweaks to it so it looks better. Messed around with gradients for a more pleasing effect. EDIT 2: For real now.
