Messy experimental thing I did to relax... watercolor, salt, gouache and gel pen on hand dyed Bristol.
If I ever do anything like this again, I'll probably do the background in watercolor, and the rest in gouache and/or acrylic, the watercolor bled all over the place...

A beautiful experiment, I'd say. I love the detail of the wings, and the fuzziness of the moth-like fairy, I've always found them more subtle and interesting than ones based on butterflies.
