I've been wanting to do a big peafowl dragon/phoenix painting for a while, so this ended up being a nice study for that. I'm pretty close to happy with the final creature design, and I think I actually have a composition sketch I like, so hopefully I can finalize it and find the time to finish up one or two more big paintings this year.
