Work in progress. 7.5" x 11" including roughly 1/4" margin all around. Watercolor and white ink on tan Stonehenge paper, which is a little more delicate than I'd like (masking fluid is a no no), but I love the textures I get, and the antique/vintage look the tan paper gives my paintings.

Washed out some of the moss texture playing with shadows, gonna have to redo them. Oh well, live and learn. Printed out a smaller version of this to test some lighting, I'm trying to learn to render lighting better, including having the undersides of leaves all backlit and glowey.

This will be the first painting in my Fantasy/Draconic portfolio I'm creating through Kickstarter, we are almost up to 6 paintings!
