On this day, Stephen Hillenburg (the creator of SpongeBob SquarePants) died due to Lou Gehrig's disease at 57 years old. On the same month of the same year, we lost Stan Lee (the man behind the Marvel comics) due to Congestive Heart Failure at 95.

To say that I cried about it would be a massive understatement. These 2 very likeable people who graced the world with a worldwide phenomenon that took the world by storm and were very influential people who gave us a smile. Whether it's behind their creation or in person. Their legacies will never be forgotten and will continue to live on in our hearts.

May Stephen Hillenburg and Stan Lee Rest in Peace. It still felt like yesterday that they died right in front of us. 5 years later. Ot was never forgotten.
