Well, speaking as person that deals with heavy machinery. Accidents happen and a lot quicker than a split second.
So don't mess around with them.
Update:
He was plowing and had just pulled out, a car that had got stuck. The family was thanking him, when it started to roll away, he went to stop the plow and was ran over.
Playing a hero vs being a hero in real life, is a lot different but good on you mate
