Description
While poking around some roughage to eat, Thykkn heard chirping under a log nearby. An odd craving befell her as she curiously looked into the den underneath the bushed, gated by a twisted, fallen log. It was small and fuzzy. Thykkn felt an urge to grab the small animal, as soon as she did, however, it shrieked. By the time Thykkn had pulled her head from the nest, the Mother jumped on the log above and leat out a loud and horrifying screeching noise. Thykkn quickly went to run, hoping she could get away before the Mother decided to chase after her...

Another piece involving Thykkn, this time as her Adolescent self. So there's a lot of speculative behavior behind this piece. For awhile it's been speculated that (at least Ceratopsids, if not all of Marginocephalia) could have been possible scavengers (Mark Witton visits and revisits this and has a breakdown of the reasons it's a possibility). This coupled with the fast that Modern herbivores such as Cattle, Horses, Hippos, and Deer, dabble a little bit in carnivory from time to time, with the latter three are reported man eaters (either living or already dead). There's also some hadrosaur coprolites with crustacean remains inside, which support the idea of this being a practice in the mesozoic as well.

Now there are plenty of reasons why an animal who is happy with plants would want to do this, but the reason depicted here for Thykkn is simple: Puberty. A study looking at Einiosaurus , another Centrosaurine Ceratopsid, found that they peaked growth at around 3-5 years of age, and that this is likely when the animal becomes sexually mature. Now growing from a small baby to an animal as large if not larger than a rhinoceros probably took a lot of energy and nutrients that may be difficult to come by. Perhaps some meat snacks may have been just the pick me up these teenagers needed to get to adulthood.

The Mother of which Thykkn has taken her meat snack from is a generic Velociraptorine dromaeosaur, with a colourscheme loosely based on Japanese cranes and red-shouldered blackbirds
