1 Bane: “You were right – she’s a non-entity. An irrelevant, single-and-pregnant college student with no special skills or future. Very strange.”
2 Shiva: “How is that strange? Batman’s a man, like any other. He took his pleasure with his whore, and she got knocked up. It’s hardly the first time in the history of mankind.”
2 Bane: “It isn’t Batman’s child. The father is someone else she knew.”
3 Shiva: “Well, that’s interesting. Pointless, but interesting. Wait… do you know who they really are? Who Batman really is?”
3 Bane: “Of course. He’s Batman. It’s his alternate identity that is the fraud.”
4 Shiva: “Don’t be coy.”
4 Bane: “Yes, I know who he really is.”
5 Shiva: “Then let’s just attack him in his home in the dead of night!”
5 Bane: “No. Luthor didn’t pay me to kill his secret identity, he paid me to kill Batman. And that knowledge I earned through careful observation. It isn’t for sale.”
6 Bane: “Besides, it would be dishonorable to kill him in such a way. And no one ever accused Bane of being without honor.”
