Page 1 (kitchen and forest)

1 Rocket: “Kitchen duty is awful even when you’re actually cooking something. When you’re just cleaning and organizing, it’s even worse. Boring, with good smells, but no promise of tasting anything. And the fat slob just sits by and lets you haul around everything, no matter how heavy it is.”
2 Rocket: “As usual, I try to let my mind go, like Doctor Gorski says. Let it wander someplace where it’s free, and in charge.”
3 Rocket: “So, I’m gone. Like normal, I’m a wandering adventurer. But I can’t quite let go of everything. I’m still hungry.”
4 Rocket: “Finding food occupies much of my time. It has to, when you’re an itinerant. The big game seems picked over in this area, and I wonder if there’s a predator around, scaring them off. Regardless, I don’t find anything. That I can catch, at any rate.”
5 Rocket: “They say nature is red in tooth and claw, but that’s wrong. Usually, the hunter doesn’t catch anything. I hope to meet up with Sweet Pea later. Maybe she’s had more luck.”
6 Rocket: “And then, I see it. A beautiful parcel of food, almost as if it’s been laid out for me. I take a brief glance around, and then I reach out for it.”
