1 Stephanie: “You sure poop your way through a lot of diapers, kid.”
1 Joshua: “Waahhhh!”
2 Stephanie: “You’re growing like a weed. I guess I better not buy too many of this size.”
2 Customer: “Wearing that shirt again, I see.”
3 Customer: “I hate the red nose, but I feel like I have to wear something. I painted his smile on the side of my garage, too.”
3 Customer: “It won’t protect you. Not from any of the freaks, and not from him.”
4 Customer: “Why does everyone think he’s some kind of literal god?”
4 Stephanie: “I know, right? He’s the same terrorist in makeup he’s always been.”
5 Customer: “That’s the key, isn’t it? ‘Always been’. I was talking to a professor who examined the Star Sapphire attack on Marissa Ellis. He said his research suggested the Joker was immortal. That he’s always been here, testing the city in some fashion.”
5 Customer: “I read something like that on the internet, although I didn’t know somebody credible had said it. That centuries ago the Joker was exposed to something called “dionesium” that made him immortal and able to regenerate back from any injury.”
6 Customer: “Yeah, that’s it exactly. He’s been around since before Gotham was founded.”
6 Stephanie: “Oh, good Lord.”
