Chapter 1
Abductions and the game

The producer sat in his chair, staring intently at his computer screen. He had been tasked with creating a new intergalactic reality show, and he needed contestants. Turning to the co-host, he said, “We need to find some interesting and diverse aliens to participate in our new show.”

The co-host, a being of pure energy, replied, “I have an idea. Let’s send out spaceships to various planets and abduct potential contestants. We can make it seem like they’ve been chosen at random, and the winner will receive untold riches.”

The producer nodded in agreement. “That’s brilliant. Let’s get started right away.”

As they worked on the logistics of the show, they watched as multiple UFOs took off in different directions, each carrying out their mission to abduct aliens from various planets.

And so likewise our contestants are abducted accordingly:

A UFO glides down from the sky and lands in front of Priya, who is busy watering her garden. The door of the UFO opens and two slimy, tentacled aliens emerge. They grab Priya and say, “Your presence is requested.” Despite her protests, they carry her into the ship, which takes off into space.

A UFO hovers above Malik as he walks his dog in the park. The door opens and two aliens step out, each resembling an amoeba with multiple pulsing pseudopods. They tell Malik, “Your presence is urgently required.” Though Malik tries to resist, they forcibly take him into the ship and blast off into space.

Aqurix is minding its own business, peacefully floating in a pond on its home planet. Suddenly, a UFO appears and hovers above it. Two aliens with elongated, reptilian bodies emerge from the ship and demand, “You must come with us.” Despite Aqurix’s efforts to escape, the aliens grab it and bring it aboard the ship, which takes off into space.
Slimetentra is in the middle of performing a stand-up comedy routine at a local club when a UFO lands outside. Two aliens resembling furry, bipedal animals with large eyes step out and declare, “You’re coming with us.” Though Slimetentra tries to negotiate, the aliens pick it up and carry it into the ship, which quickly lifts off into space.

Fizzletop is busy making a sock puppet when a UFO lands in its backyard. Two robotic aliens, each resembling a floating cube with numerous mechanical arms, emerge from the ship and tell Fizzletop, “Your presence has been requested.” Despite Fizzletop’s attempts to bargain, the aliens scoop it up and bring it into the ship, which rockets off into space.

Z13π is tinkering with a complex gadget when a UFO appears and lands next to it. Two aliens, each resembling a tall, slender humanoid with metallic skin, step out and demand, “You must come with us.” Though Z13π tries to resist, the aliens grab it and carry it into the ship, which takes off into space.

As the UFOs containing our contestants converged and landed on the planet surface, the aliens wordlessly deposited them around a crackling bonfire. Suddenly, our co-host “Nebula”, a being of pure energy, appeared from behind the other side of the fire and began addressing the bewildered contestants.

“Welcome to the ultimate survival reality TV show,” Nebula announced. “You will have to go through a series of challenges, create alliances, and vote each other off the island. But be warned, only one of you will emerge as the ultimate survivor and claim the untold riches that await you.”

The contestants exchanged glances, struggling to process the information, and then agreed to the terms. Nebula proceeded to list the rules and guidelines for the competition, as the contestants listened attentively.

And with that, the game had officially begun.
