Description
So this was the project I slapped together in the last 42 hours of the blenderguru.com winter themed render contest. It happened to be also one of the last few days of my exams that I was spontaneously inspired to make this image, also to be used as a Christmas card, so rushed as an adjetive would be an understatement! The biggest trouble was making the trees in cycles, the new rendering engine in the official blender release; to compensate with any sketchiness in how I created it, the trees in the puzzle scene and the one blending into the foreground scene are darkened a little.

Any textured used were edited from those found on cgtextures.com, and all models, textur-ing, and compositing was done by myself.
