This is map of Europe when first world war started. There was 2 sides, They are: Central Powers and Allies. Central Powers: German Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire,Tsardom of Bulgaria, Ottoman Empire. Allies: Russian Empire, British Empire, French Empire, Kingdom of Italy, Netherlands, Kingdom of Serbia, Greece.Why Austro-Hungarian Empire has such as flag here? Because They didn't had 1 flag for both austrians and hungarians. Flag from Wikipedia is not real flag.
Why Russian Empire flag is not Black, Yellow and White? Because this was the real flag. Black, Yellow, White version was replaced.
Where is Ireland? Ireland was created after world war 1.
