pestilence replaces conquest in most fantasy writings. conquest is the original one in the bible

Not true. In fact, it's depend of the translation. For example, I read a translation by the monks of Maredsous which translate :
"...They were given power over a fourth of the earth to slay with the sword, famine and
pestilence, and by the wild beasts."

That's the common interpretation, but only Death is actually named. The rest, even War, are just figured depending on their descriptions. Given that a lot of what diseases, viruses and the like do is conquer larger, more complex, living beings and that conquest is a subsidiary of War, Pestilence is a more logical interpretation than the default Conquest.

i was readind up on the four horsemen. i think conquest war changed to pestalence due to the nature of deaths rain. read rev.6:8 for more.
