Gender: Female
Age: 30 (Birthday: February 17, 2065)
Height: 5'3"
Occupation: Freelance Herbalist
Residence: On-base
Physical description:
Ladiee is a young-looking, slender (but strong) woman with nearly flawless skin and board-straight, waist-length, carefully groomed hair that she keeps dyed a sakura pink. There's well-loved calluses on her hands and a few tiny wrinkles around her almond eyes, forest green and quite vibrant, and are often framed by round black glasses when she needs to read something. There is often a spring in her step and a light, attentive way to her every movement, and it's rare to see her with empty arms-- she's not a fan of bags and loves carrying her kids. She bears two scars: one on each shoulder that resemble acid burns. While she has no definition to her muscle whatsoever (in fact her arms seem somewhat rounded and smooth), she is much stronger than you'd expect.
Transformed, Ladiee dons an white, ankle-length dress with a bell-like shape and puff to it, complemented by puffy long sleeves with a snug fit and ruffles around the wrists and forearm, a panel of floral embroidery along the middle of the chest. Along the shoulders are ruffly shoulderpads and a equally ruffled neck collar. Framing this panel is a dark green bodice with flowers, branches, silk, and metallic threads woven delicately through and around it. A matching, rectangular apron skirt is tied around the waist with a wide ribbon, the bottom embroidered with silver thread in a geometric pattern. Her shoes are a dark brown and silver-embroidered leather ankle boot, with white stockings or socks coming up to the knee. Her flowerpot tool becomes tied to her back, with flower arrows sprouting from dirt within, and she gains a slim wooden bow used to fire them. Flowers also sprout from Ladiee's hair and in a crown around her head. Alongside a ceramic appearance, when using her nymph's spirit ability, she temporarily sprouts woody antlers, and her ears sharply elongate into elfish points. The transformation is quick and elegant, with her clothes unfolding out or changing color into the new ones and accompanied with a floral scent and slight rustling sound.
During winter, she gains an ankle-length shawl pinned by a metal brooch at the collarbone, covered in flowers and other plantlife.
Personality:
Ladiee is a friendly and vibrant young woman of great charisma. She's eloquent in her words yet cheerful and informal, with a constantly flitting attention that overall gives the impression of a butterfly-like spirit; inattentive yet elegant and charming. She is notorious for her motherly nature, derived from her own strong sense of responsibility for herself and others and need to always be doing something; she almost never procrastinates on anything. Ladiee is also a bit of a hopeless romantic, always looking for "the one".
On the flip side, she can be extremely nosy and sensitive, making her quite easily offended or upset by mere words, especially since she's not at all dense and easily picks up on subtle implications and tones. With a strong sense of empathy, Ladiee can also easily be tired out by the collective mood of a room, and as an extrovert, that simply won't do while she's around.
Biography:
Ladiee hails from Elva, Estonia, where she was born to a constantly-working father with early grey hairs and a doting stay-at-home mother who was more than a little protective of her little darling-- even though she didn't want a daughter. As such, her view of the world was severely limited.
Although Estonia had a low monster population (and a high human population as a result), Ladiee was banned from watching or reading any sort of national news by her mother and was never allowed out the house without supervision. Even going out into the backyard to take care of the plants her mother allowed her to keep was closely monitored, and she was always homeschooled. Friends always came to her house, never her to theirs. One could question if she even knew other countries existed. Her mother was irrationally overprotective, and imposed many restrictions on Ladiee in return. Her father was rarely home during the day, and usually submitted to whatever his wife wanted.
At first, Ladiee was content with this. Even though it meant she struggled to socially develop for many years, she was too young to seriously question it. However, when she turned ten, her little brother Aleksandeer, the son her mother wanted, was born, and he was given much, much more freedom. He wasn't homeschooled, and visited friends all the time. Ladiee felt betrayed and confronted her parents directly, but nothing came of it.
So, when she was 16 and rebellious, she turned to Aleksandeer, nicknamed 'Sandy' much later. With some bribery and begging from Ladiee, the two schemed together, as siblings are apt to do, and Sandy began helping to smuggle her out the house-- opening windows, distracting the parents, and so on. Since he was so young, her parents didn't even question that he could've been a culprit in the sudden spike of Ladiee disappearances.
That was, until one day when Ladiee didn't come back.
Ladiee was 17 and a half at the time. At 15 she had fallen in with some of the more truant kids from the local school; fell hard for one of the boys of the group. Ladiee hadn't found them; they'd found her, staring mournfully out her window as students skipping school passed by. The group had nicknames for every member, and when they saw her, then nicknamed Ladiee something along the lines of "Illus tüdruk aknas", or "beautiful girl in the window."; Illu for short. She got into a relationship with "Hanepoiss", the aforementioned boy, and so her rebellion grew.
With these truant children Ladiee learned of monsters and Tuvia and so many other things with them. She learned English and read anything she got her hands on, desperate to learn more of the world she'd missed. She wanted to know about monsters, see monsters, see the lands of Europe and Asia and America. Ladiee loathed her mother's overprotectiveness and ran away, running off to elope with Hane, and, following a breakup much later, walked her way south. When her birthday passed and she was 18, she managed to pick up an under the table job and lived on the street and by the courtesy of strangers. It was miserable, but Ladiee kept her goal in mind: get to Tuvia and get a real life. She overestimated the world's safety and the world's kindness.
Eventually, Ladiee managed to catch a dubiously safe and legal ship ride into Tuvia for all her money. She celebrated the occasion by squeezing beet juice into the ends of her hair to temporarily turn it a splotchy pink and somehow managed to land in Tuvia with broken English, not a cent to her name, and no identification. She was a nobody, but a happy nobody.
Ladiee picked up a job at a small plant shop in Ferrysburg (her bond with the owner later forming her fondness for plants) and started working on applying for citizenship. The latter would never come to fruition, as she was terrified of being deported back to her mother if she was rejected. So she continued to stay at the plant shop; she slept in the storage shed, got food from the owner, and worked hard to start saving money.
It was one day when a particularly handsome young boy came in looking for some succulents, and 19-year-old Ladiee vyed to earn his attention. Well, she earned it, but in the form of accidentally dropping a ceramic pot on his foot. The pot shattered and certainly did not earn her any brownie points, but as she pulled out the first aid kit to patch up a gash in the boy's foot, flowers welled up out of and sealed the cut shut. Panicked, the boy reported her for magical phenomena and Ladiee was requested to come in for Tuvilite investigation.
Ladiee spoke with the Tuvilite investigators, but nothing seemed to provoke any unnatural effect. Since they weren't interested in her lack of citizenship (they figured if she wasn't committing a crime she could simply apply for citizenship), she was released… only for her to come back in a day later with a hefty flower pot, babbling about how the seeds she planted sprouted up when she messed with the soil. A few days of investigation later, the pot was deemed to be a tool, and Ladiee was drafted in-- it was that or be shipped off to Estonia and drafted into a Knighthood in Europe. This, by extension, forced her to go through naturalization, which she just barely passed through.
Ever since, Ladiee has been living her life on base and quietly. A series of failed normal and Knight relationships (including but not limited to Yasmine), nearly getting enveloped by a slime-like acid monster, a diagnosis of infertility, and a degree in botany and herbology filled several more years. In early 2093, she adopted two orphan children to stay with her in her housing unit: a now 4 year-old girl named Janithy and her 6 year-old sister Hollia, the same year when she met someone very familiar.
It was a new recruit, red-haired and fresh of face. He was no older than 18, and Ladiee felt she'd seen him somewhere before, but she couldn't put an identity to the face. When the two first properly spoke a few days after his first training session, the R-F suddenly grabbed her, hugged her, then shook her a little bit. Ladiee nearly punched him before he sputtered out "It's me, Lala. Sandy?"
Apparently, Aleksandeer, her brother, left Estonia after seeing her in a newspaper one day, and he came to look for her. However, she was nigh impossible to track down since she lived on base and had virtually no record prior, and he ended up joining the Tuvilites. Sandy knew the consequences full well, but didn't seem to mind the monster hunting work at all. If anything, he enjoyed it, and life went on.
Two years later, Ladiee temporarily took a vacation to visit her ailing (now deceased) mother back home, and hasn't looked back since.

Power Theme: Garden Whisperer
Tool: Flower Pot
Rank: R-A
Stats:
Strength: 4
Agility: 3
Fortitude: 4
Willpower: 2
Mind: 2
Power: 5
Health Points: 6
Symptoms:
Flower Crown: Ladiee can make a variety of flowers grow in a crown shape around her head, and they wither away about 12 hours later or when subject to prolonged pressure and stress (such as sleeping on them). In springtime, these often bloom without her control.
Powers:
Passive:
Mother of Millions - Ladiee loves plants, and they love her. Wherever she goes, even in winter, plants tend to bloom in her wake. The plants she cultivates grow larger and faster than normal (one way she fed a fellow Tuvilite who couldn't eat normal food). However, whenever crossing unfertile soil, this draws on her own body and magic, so spending too much time outside in winter or in unfertile areas like deserts makes her tired or requiring supplements of things like phosphorus.
Pots of Plenty - Ladiee can summon flower pots of varying size and shape. They always appear filled with soil. From these flower pots (or her tool itself) she can make any kind of flower or plants she's physically handled bloom or grow, and whatever is growing in it at the moment affects the kind growing on her magical form's outfit and arrows.
Transformed:
Entanglement - Ladiee touches the ground with her hands and whispers to it (usually asking for help), to which the plants swell in size and constrict enemies. Does not work in plantless areas. Alternatively, she can ask the plants to perform a similar task, such as grabbing an object. [Stun, requires tool]
Nature's Stitches - Ladiee touches a wound (usually with her finger(s)), which is painlessly stitched closed by plant roots with flower blooms of the target's birth flower. The plants live on the user for a few days before dying. Wounds healed in this way, though, always faintly scar over, so Lala rarely uses the ability. [Heal]
Floral Veins - Ladiee draws one of her arrows and presses a plant seed into the ceramic tip. When it hits a target, the plants rapidly grow and dig in under the skin like veins, constricting and damaging muscles (dealing damage over periods of hours). The plants and the roots die after about a day, but will live and thrive on a dead target. Only works on things with physical, flesh and blood bodies. [Attack + Stun]
Grapeshot - Ladiee takes soil from her tool and condenses it in her hand, changing them into solid ceramic or other pot materials in shape of a ball. When thrown at a target, the ball breaks apart and strikes 3 targets near one another. [Attack, requires tool]
Nymph's Spirit - Plants and roots sprout from Ladiee's pot, covering and coiling around her as her skin hardens into ceramic-like material that also decorates her clothes. This forms a shield that soaks all damage for the number of turns of magic points spent, making it perfect for blocking attacks directed at others. However, it consumes all her remaining magic points, forcing her into normal form after it expires, and leaves her very, very tired and unable to fight. She also cannot attack while using this ability. [Defense, requires tool]
Weaknesses:
See abilities for their individual weaknesses.
Ladiee is not agile in terms of physical grace; rather, she has a steady hand for aiming her shots, and she is good at climbing. Her agility otherwise is quite mediocre.
Lala would do anything to protect her younger brother, so manipulating her with regards to him is easy.
Ladiee will hold petty grudges on missions, and is not reliable in the emotions department; she easily gets worked up on missions.
Extra:
She is a natural blonde.
Neither of her adopted children are bonded to tools… or at least, that's what the public thinks. Ladiee tries to keep them out of the spotlight.
She is very slightly farsighted, just enough to need reading glasses.
She has three rescue dogs.
Very touch-starved and affectionate with those she knows, but often too embarrassed to give it
Questioning heterosexual; previous failed relationship with Yasmine, once tried to (very) unsuccessfully hook up with Khonner
