SO! Prompt 1 of the nutcracker season - ‘Meeting other Nutcrackers’

Rainer essentially ‘meeting’ the old rulers of the Doll Kingdom. A pair of Nutcrackers who reigned over the lands long ago until disaster happened and the war between Dolls and Mice commenced. Rainer is unsure how to feel about being a Nutcracker when seeing the tapestry upon the old castle walls. One the one hand, it’s was a curse - it kept him away from his family, he’s ‘a pile of wood’ - but one the other hand, it turned him into the very thing that once held the highest amount of respect and attention.
