Yep, 'felt that the Lady Styx's return-subplot really felt like an Inspector Gadget-vs-Dr Claw episode.
She's there, we know it, the character know she's there too, but they don't meet to find another day...
They only defeat the "plot of the week", a madness plague, fight some bad guys and the true villain escape to fight another day.
