A belated Christmas gift for my dear friend, colleague and fellow geek , who built a papercraft TWOK phaser for me. As me and paper together usually results in disaster, I built this little 3D X-Wing fighter for her instead.

Yeah, folks, my first Star Wars model and boy, was it hard to build! I think it was a harder case then the Sovereign class! The texturing was fun, it was interesting to make this poor bird look all beaten and burnt. Animating it was tricky, but the S-foils DO lock into attack position. And she comes with the classic R2 astromech unit, a red one as requested. I think it's a she and answers to the name of Jezabel. Only the Force knows why...
