So i got off my ass for once and got to working on a remodel for cordyne,anyways onto the reworked lore:

The result of what happens when you introduce cordyceps to the enviroment of pripyat,aka chernobyl.

The radiation there fucked up its dna to the point it can infect larger creatures like humans,although this is highly unlikely,as this mutated variant of the cordyceps fungus can't survive for long enough in the human body to get in the brain,as its resistance to temperature was barely increased.

As for cordyne,they have also taken the body of a mutated,anthropomorphic ant.

Despite the low heat resistance the mutated cordyceps has,it can still heavily damage you by taking near instant effect if cordyne wishes the spores to do so,making roots of cordyceps and manually controlling you a little.

abilities:Spore manipulation,Partial coontrol,regeneration

Weakenesses:fire,not having a host for more than a day.
