i dont read stories, but from what i see i suggest try drawing on plane white paper, usually its easy to buy a stack of printer paper thats what i started out with, this way you dont get those lines all over the image

its always good to keep practicing different styles, but always try to get pose and anatomy right, work on shading and you will improve much faster c:
being a writer and artist you have something good goin there

Well I buy the line paper so no one tries coping my art work + it's the line books only cost an $1 which means I won't have to spend a lot of money and the body thing is my own style as before I couldn't draw anthro but now I can.

the lines wont stop people from copying your art, thats an issue we all have here but its not a big deal because you have a time stamp of the date you uploaded the picture so if anyone tries to steal it the proof shows who uploaded it first, plus only really popular artists get their art stolen, even i am not there yet.
yes you have your own art style but it needs to be more defined and clean
but this is my advise
