Description

After the snap, ladybug finds herself without her partner, or her family, and strangely Hawkmoth had stopped attacking. Plagg and his miraculous had not been taken by the snap, so he put himself in Marinette’s care in the meantime. With no threat to Paris, Ladybug sought out the avengers to see how she could help: leaving her old life behind. Little did she know that a certain butterfly miraculous holder had had a similar idea.

You see, Gabriel and Adrien we’re actually having dinner when the snap occurred. And not only did it take away Adrien, but it took Natalie and Emilie as well. Overtaken by grief, he put aside his terrorizing to see if he could help the avengers put together a plan. He left Gorilla in charge of the mansion, and left Paris.
Of course the avengers were skeptical at first to let him join, especially after ladybug showed up and made a scene of it. But after pleading his case to wanting to get his son and wife back, they allowed him a probation, under the watchful eye of Ladybug herself.
He eventually proves himself to the team, and he and Ladybug gain a respect for each other that wasn’t there before. He helps her redesign her costume with just a bit more protection, and in turn she helped him pick out a new design for his own: while more friendly, still a bit intimidating. ( I honestly just hate Hawkmoth’s actual design so I had to change it somehow).
