I'm not surprised to tell you the truth. Life Is Strange seems to be incredibly popular as a Fan Art subject at the moment.
I'm not really sure why, maybe it's just everyone really loves the characters (I thought they were cool and well developed, but I'm still pretty amazed at the extent of the fan-base) and maybe the crazy SciFi/Mystery plot . It was only something like 2 weeks ago that one of my favorite YouTube artists made a video of them making a similar picture in terms of content (Not as crazily inventive as yours though
Not that any of this detracts anything from your picture or the game itself. Sometimes it's nice to be involved in a more popular thing.
Still I think doing rarer stuff like the Slime Rancher art is a really good thing to do.
