I made my OC Mermaid for Mermay.
I called her "Nia" meaning in Celtic "brightness, luster, radiance".
In Irish mythology, the Origin of "Nia" was "Niamh", She was the daughter of the sea god "Manannan mac Lir" in Irish legends. She fell in love with the poet "Oisin" the son of "Fionn mac Cumhaill".
