Description
The arm whirred into life, gliding along above Shepard's body until it came to a halt above her face. Shepard looked up at the scalpel with a look of terror as it began to descend towards her. First it cut a single strand of hair from her head and Dr Core placed it in a tray behind her. Then it went to her neck and began to dig into her neck, without hitting any vital parts. It began to suck a small sample of blood from Shepard and once this was done, a small surgical laser healed the wound. Finally, it moved down to her arm and began to dig. Shepard winced as it hit the bone before letting out a small cry as the laser pierced a tiny hole in her bone. The scalpel reemerged with a small piece of bone marrow on it and Dr Core retrieved it before placing it in the tray with the hair and vial of blood.
"Thank you for your cooperation Shepard, it didn't hurt at all." Dr Core said.
