Description

One of the worst things I do to myself is I force myself to finish everything I do. So that means that every sketch gets added to the pile to be digitalised later and this is why I have such a huge backlog and this is why I still havent reeeeeeeeally posted anything from 2023.

So I think I've matured enough as an artist to be able to say that sometimes... you don't have to 'finish' something for it to be a worthwhile work of art. It took me forever to learn that but from now on I'm going to try and stick to that. I don't have to finish everything for things to be 'finished'.

But because it doesnt look good unless it reaches a certain level of finish I've thrown them together to make my latest craze Sketchpiles! No story, characters not to scale, just a bunch of old/half-finished doodles I can make better versions of at my leisure. I don't want to throw these drawings away but I don't want to spend more time on them so! Here we are. (Characters are not quite to scale)
