Description
a few design notes
-No eyebrows, so it’s more difficult to decipher his true emotions
-no eyes either. not really any reason why, I just enjoyed it as a design element. the “eye” on his tie is like a third eye. his real eyes glow/appear when using his powers (maybe, idk!)
-since al’s got the whole deer theme going for him, I thought it would be fun to redesign him as a faun-like creature.
-rubberhose limbs and gray/muted colors to evoke a retro feel
-broken antler because I liked it XD and i felt that it adds a little bit of mystery to him (why is his antler broken? what caused it? things like that)
-not drawn here, but his lips are “tied” back/tied to his face to keep him “permanently smiling”
-i wanted to keep his teeth bright orange to keep his face the focal point, so i made the colors on him and his suit muted/desaturated.
