Description
Alex was a depressed teen boy who had lost his job at the local grocery store. He had been working there for a few months to save up money for a new computer, but he had been fired for being too slow.
Alex was devastated. He felt like a failure. He didn't know what to do. He had no money and no job. He was also alone. His parents had died in a car accident a few years ago, and he had no other family.
Alex decided to try to find another job, but he couldn't find anything. He went to job interviews, but he was always rejected. He was starting to lose hope.
One day, Alex was walking down the street when he saw a sign that said "Help Wanted". He went inside and asked for a job. The manager told him that they were hiring dishwashers, and that he could start the next day.
Alex was excited. He finally had a job. He knew that it wasn't much, but it was something. He worked hard at his new job, but he was still struggling to make ends meet. He barely had enough money to pay for his rent and food.
One day, Alex got sick. He couldn't go to work. He missed a few days of work, and he was fired. Alex was devastated. He was now unemployed and had no money. He didn't know what to do.
Alex started to feel hopeless. He felt like he was all alone in the world. He started to think about suicide. He didn't see any other way out.
One day, Alex went to the park and sat down on a bench. He looked up at the sky and thought about all the things that had gone wrong in his life. He felt like he was a failure. He didn't want to live anymore.
Alex stood up and walked to the edge of the park. He looked down at the ground. He was about to jump when he heard a voice.
"Hey," the voice said.
Alex turned around and saw a young girl standing behind him. She was about his age. She had long brown hair and big green eyes.
"What are you doing?" the girl asked.
"I'm thinking about jumping," Alex said.
"Why?" the girl asked.
Alex told the girl about his life. He told her about losing his job, his parents dying, and feeling alone.
"I don't know what to do," Alex said. "I feel like I'm a failure."
The girl listened to Alex patiently. When he was finished, she put her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't give up," she said. "You're not a failure. You're just going through a tough time."
Alex looked at the girl. He didn't know what to say.
"Here's my phone number," the girl said. "If you ever need to talk, just call me."
The girl handed Alex her phone number and then walked away.
Alex looked at the phone number in his hand. He thought about calling the girl, but he decided not to. He didn't want to bother her.
Alex walked out of the park and started walking down the street. He didn't know where he was going, but he knew that he couldn't go back to his apartment. He didn't have any money, and he didn't want to be alone.
Alex walked for hours. He was tired, hungry, and thirsty. He started to feel lightheaded. He knew that he couldn't keep walking for much longer.
Alex saw a bench and sat down. He rested his head in his hands and started to cry. He felt so alone and hopeless. He didn't know what to do.
Alex closed his eyes and waited for the end.
