When I am gone, do not mourn me long. Instead, gather with my friends and sing A song of joy, a song of love, To celebrate the life I've lived above.
Then take my ashes to the sea, And scatter them upon the waves, So that I may be one with the ocean, And travel to far-off lands unknown.
Or plant my ashes in a tree, So that I may grow and blossom free, And give life to all who see me, As I have given life to you and me.
However you choose to remember me, Know that I am always with you, In spirit, in heart, in mind. I will never truly be gone.
