Oh boy, this girl has gone through hell and back man

Design 1: She's the kid that you don't brag about at the PTA meeting. This was the first time I made a Dynasty Warriors OC, an I oh-so-creatively named her Sun Qiao kek. This was the first iteration of an energetic Sun Ce daughter. Don't let her appearance fool you though... She was edgy FOR NO REASON WHAT SO EVER. I like to pretend she doesn't exist and I refuse to draw her as nice as I did here ever again, but I do like her design still for some god awful reason.

Design 2: Ahhhh, the days of Sun Menghua because I thought day dream would be a good name. She's still energetic, but this one is more on the innocent side with no edge, thank god. Her design makes me cringe out of my skin though. I have no idea what I was thinking.

Design 3: A step in the right direction, finally. I decided to take the more shy and timid route this time, and gave her a reason for being shy and reserved. This one was never published on dA (this was around the time I took a break from the site). I do like where I went with this design since it reflected that she was a timid and quiet girl, although it was heavily inspired by Daqiao's DW7 look. This also introduced her symbolism with flowers, more specifically the peony.

Design 4 (fav.me/d8apgeo fav.me/d7eatjs ): Legit, I just had fun with drawing this one if I'm going to be honest. Name changed to Sun Mengning. While some of the design elements were kinda all over the place, I still love it because it was so much fun to draw. I have so many sketches of this design it's not funny. This is when I started to turn her more toward a reserved young woman who did her best to better herself. This is also when I decided to make her a huge bookworm and interested in tactics and strategy as opposed to fighting.

Design 5/Current ( fav.me/d97edbq fav.me/d9bppnc fav.me/dapahqa fav.me/db132ws ): By far, this one is my favorite one. This is when I finally gave her the name Xiuying since I thought it tied in with her whole flower theme rather well. I think I nailed the reserved young woman look, and I'm going to be editing her bio soon because I want to some some slight overhauls to her character, such as making her Sun Ce's oldest daughter and her never knowing her real mother as well as only accepting Daqiao as a stand-in for her real mother. I'm also looking to make her more stronger-willed than her previous iterations and calm.
