Part 2:
As there is no special bodypart I usually begin with, I began with the head this time.
The head is kinda croco-ish, which I'm not fully satisfied yet. Maybe I will change it later.
The important part here is to know how a typical reptiles head is built. I mostly use the head of iguanas, but a lizardman's head can be also more like a crocodile and raptors. I do not recommend using heads of turtles and snakes. I am also not a fan of "beaked" heads, such as some sort of dragons or snapping turtles and such. Althose those look fairly good, they do not look like lizardman to me but rather than humanoid dragons (like here [link] ).
Drawing lizardman heads is like drawing lizard (I prefer iguanas, raptors, crocodiles and alligators) heads - easy as that.
Another important aspect is the neck. Lizards have thick necks and a "warrior-type" lizardman should be built fairly broad and massive. So don't be afraid of giving the it a thich neck and connect it directly with the shoulders. In my opinion, that looks the best.
