was going through files to decide what to work on tonight and remembered that i haven't shared this here yet, I've been saving a lot of exclusive or unfinished concept art for my spyro comic for my patreon, but this is more or less what i'm feeling for the finalized design. it's a little empty right now, but i'll likely return to and update it with more landmarks as the comic progresses. plus maybe clean the look up a bit as it's honestly still a little roughyou might notice immediately as well these aren't really 'islands' I honestly felt the design was a bit too restrictive and honestly didn't make sense at points (the dam in dotd was apparently supposed to be connected to the ocean? which is... not how dams work) I really just like this layout a bit more, plus it gives me some stretching room to grow and play with different settings and locals
(also 'unclaimed territory' just means it's not claimed by any large empires, not that no one lives there)
