Welcome to the Vengeance/Evil Peril AU!
So what is this about? There was a page in Escaping Peril that said if anything happened to Clay Peril would probably burn everything and everyone to the ground. (I don't have the book on hand but I remember it said something like that at some point.) I think you have an idea of what's going to happen but here's a synopsis for you anyway.
"With Clay's untimely murder, Peril's life as she knew it was over. A pure, deep and murderous rage filled her and the only thing she could do, the only thing she wanted to do was to end the life of the one who killed Clay; Queen Scarlet.
However her determination to do so lead her to make a dark deal, one that ends in ashes."
