Description
My version of Veena, the bride of King Grayskull (He-Man's ancestor) and first Sorceress of Castle Grayskull.

I tweaked a couple of things on her design: her bodice is more like that of the 200x version of the Sorceress, and her loincloth and greaves are a feminine adaptation of those on the MotU:C Carnivus action figure. Actually her greaves and wristbands are both adapted from the MotU:C Draego-Man figure (who shares greaves with Carnivus).

I briefly considered going with the orange and blue color scheme of the Filmation Sorceress, but I enjoy the gold and turquoise combo and felt it differentiated her from the iconic version of the Sorceress. I also liked the way it tied in to King/Captain Miro's color scheme; he is as much her descendant as is He-Man (and Randor for that matter). Not that he's a sorcerer or anything, but whatever.
