This is a sketch I spent all of today working on--sorry if it's a little light; I'm experimenting with scanners.

This sketch actually has an story: I've been a little low on inspiration lately, but while reading Megatokyo, I suddenly felt like drawing a good friend of mine, Arielle. So I started by looking at various photos of her to get a sort of right feel. I gradually ended up morphing it a little away from what I was going for, which was more of an accurate anime-styled portrait, and somehow got here, which is quite far from my original planning. So if you are reading this, Arielle, don't be offended--this is now merely based off of you and not a real life portrayal. Though I think this sketch is cute, so I don't think I'd mind all that much.
