This is a revision of Ellie's lore, with some help from my cousin. He asked for this to help with a project of his. Names and locations mentioned are absolutely fictional, though parallels exist with our world.

HISTORY
Elisabetta (affectionately known as "Ellie") was, till 3 years ago, the only daughter of Lorenzo Vespucci, the Duke of Rosa Bianca, in northern Tiberina. The Vespucci clan have always been proponents of magecraft, and Ellie is no exception. Being an only child for some time, Ellie can be described as a bit of a brat, capable of getting things her way, in part of her late grandfather's legacy. Being the only daughter of the Duke also means people are somewhat intimidated by her stature.

Her behavior eased a little when she got a playmate: her maternal cousin, Feliciano Vasari. Since they met, both cousins have been inseparable, in part of their personalities (her extrovert to his introvert). Together, they get themselves together into all sorts of "adventures".

PERSONALITY
Ellie is notable for being very headstrong, outspoken and quite stubborn at times, possibly due to her noble upbringing. Ellie is rather rebellious in behavior, often butting heads with her parents, sometimes over trivial matters. However, as much as she bickers with them, Ellie also has a caring side, acting like a cool elder sister to her cousin and recently, her baby brother Pietro. If she sees someone being hassled, she will not hesitate to confront them, especially if it involves her family, her cousin in particular.

ABILITIES
As mentioned, Ellie comes from a long line of mages, and Ellie has also inherited these traits. The specialty magic of the Vespucci house is gemcraft, namely storing mana inside gems carved with symbols, meaning mages can cast spells without incantation, saving time. Both Ellie and her father are the most well-known of gem mages, though Ellie has plans to take it further: combining spells together. However, at present, since Ellie has no chance to show it, this aspect of gem magic remains unknown.

The name "Elisabetta" is the Italian form of the name "Elizabeth". It is a Hebrew name, which means "My God is an oath". "Vespucci" is a common Italian surname.
